Now Malaysian government is planning to release anti-dengue mosquitoes in environment. These mosquitoes are genetically modified in order to fight against dengue fever.Dengue as we all know is very deadly fever and results in serious loss of lives every year. The Malaysian government has decided to release 2,000-3,000 male Aedes aegypti genetically modified mosquitoes in the environment in the month of October.Changes have been done to genes of these mosquitoes such that their offspring will die very soon. However there are several environmentalists who believe that this is a very dangerous process. We should never disturb the nature. The credibility of such mosquitoes is questioned. There may be certain environmental factors which may bring aberrant results.Once these mosquitoes are released , it will be free and not will be in our control. Remote Access Services
After getting huge response on my last post “How to filter data using Rest from Azure Storage”. I decided to write something about RAS (Remote Access Service). But before starting the topic , I would like to admonish my readers that if you have not worked on Microsoft Network then you may find this post little abstruse. Anyway let’s start. RAS is common term for all Microsoft Vendor Companies like HCL, Wipro, Infosys, MAQ etc.
Introduction: RAS is known as Remote Access Services . RAS is used to access other domains through internet and by using Smart Card.Smart cards are given by the Microsoft to their partners companies. Basically Smart Cards gives login credentials to access Microsoft Domain.Smart Cards are used to login by a user one at a time i.e. if one user is using one smart card the other user cannot use that smart card credentials for login. So we can say Smart Cards will let only one user to login from one system only. Meter JAM – Time to say NO !
A new initiative by a group of person is slowly becoming a mass movement now.Meter Jam is an initiative to say NO to auto on 12th of August,2010.This movement came into existence because of the rude behavior of auto drivers and mostly because there were just too many refusals from auto drivers for going to some locations.
As per the rule , once the meter is down the auto driver cannot refuse to go anywhere the passengers want. However due to growing complaints against auto drivers for refusal to go to some locations , this movement has been initiated.
The initiative called Meter JAM – Time to say NO ! is a movement which is asking people not to use autos on 12th August. The movement was initiated in Mumbai. However now the initiators have asked Bangalore and Delhi people to join the force. And the people from different cities have actually joined the force by joining the movement on the site. We all must have come across the situation when we are listening to some of our favorite songs and suddenly someone elder like parents or grand parents come and say “Today’s songs are not good.Songs during our time were fabulous” . Actually I came across such situations very often. So I thought why do elderly people believe that songs during their time i.e. 20-30 years back were better than today’s songs. Continue reading

Now I Doubt That : Schumer comment on Infosys
Recently New York Senator Charles Schumer openly gave a very rude comment on one of the India’s Top IT company Infosys.
His exact words are :
“The emergency border funds will be paid for by assessing fees on foreign companies known as chop shops that outsource good, high-paying American technology jobs to lower wage, temporary immigrant workers from other countries. These are companies such as Infosys. But it will not affect the high-tech companies such as Intel or Microsoft that play by the rules and recruit workers in America.”
Chop Shop is a word that does not represent healthy image. The use of this word is absolutely improper.Infosys has been a very true company following corporate rules very cleanly. Can the remark by US senator be regarded as outcome of some frustration or economy slowdown ?
This is not the first time when some senior official from US had tried targeting IT companies in INDIA.The US president Barack Obama has already said so many times about IT Companies in Bangalore, INDIA. Continue reading
