Do you know about Facebook Account Verification ? Recently I went to Mumbai and when I tried to login into my Facebook Account I saw notification stating that my account has been locked and some verification steps were mentioned which a user has to follow in order to restore the account.Initially I thought that my account has been compromised and it’s been hacked.However then I realized the fact that it is because of the IP I was using to login into my Facebook account.The fact is whenever Facebook will find any suspicious activity like Facebook account getting logged in from a different zone IP, a new place etc. it will temporary lock the account and will ask for verification questions.Verification process is simple and interesting.It will ask you few basic questions and will display 5 different set of pics in which your friends are tagged.You need to identify your friends.You also get two skip options.Nice verification process.I enjoyed it.What do you think about Facebook Verification process ? I believe it can be made more secure by sending an unlock link via email.Because even mutual friends know the pictures and friends.What’s your take on it ?
