Google Maps is definitely one of the most used and popular application available for free to mobile users currently. However many of us in spite of using it ,does not know the other features available on this exciting application. Do you know you can actually download Google Maps on your Android Mobiles and can check the Downloaded Maps in offline mode ? Recently I went to a location for the first time and that also at night when there was not much help available when it comes to asking for route to your destination. Around midnight, when the streets are deserted and nobody was there to tell us the correct route. However immediately I checked my location on Google Maps on my Android mobile and with the help of Navigation and Get Directions features I reached my destination safely and that too on time . However I wonder if in that area what would have happened if there would have been no 3G services or I could not connect to Google Maps services or my telecom operator signal was unavailable? Soon I learned that Google Maps application actually allows its users to Download Google Maps on mobile handset memory and downloaded Google Maps can be used when you are in offline mode or there is no signal available.
