Temple Run 2, sequel of one of the most popular mobile game of 2012 Temple Run is far better than its previous version. First thing you will notice about the game is the GRAPHICS and ANIMATIONS it comes with. In comparison with the older version, the new version comes with more powers, more hurdles, curve roads, cart ride, swinging ropes, flowing rivers, last but not the least one giant ape. 
Where Can You Find Temple Run 2
If you are Android user, download it from Play Store ; for iOS users download it from Apple Store. For iOS, the game is almost 45 MB in size. Once downloaded and installed, Click on the icon and Press the PLAY button.
Temple Run 2 POWERUPS:
There are three POWERUPS available in Temple Run 2.
- SHIELD : It protects you against the obstacles. If you have this power on, you can hit anyone obstacle and nothing will happen to you. The power will be lost after sometime or after you hit any obstacle.
- BOOST : It helps you in covering some distance at high pace. Good power if you wish to cover more distance. However due to high speed you may lose coins on the way.
- MAGNET : This power attract the near by coins and is very useful if you are targeting to collect more and more coins.
*The invisibility power which was present in previous version is no more available in Temple Run 2.

a) BECAUSE CHARACTER MATTERS:Unlike the older version, in which all the characters were having similar powers and only difference between them was their appearance , there are certain power associated with each character in Temple Run 2. Default character is “GUY DANGEROUS”. For him, the default POWER is Shield. So when you start the game, check the top left corner. There is a power meter and with each coin you collect, power meter will increase. Once it is full , just double tap the screen to activate the power instantly. Once activated ; after sometime, power meter is reset and power is gone. You can again activate the power once the power meter is full again. If you hit any obstacle, in that case also POWER meter is reset and you have to collect the coins again to fill the Power meter from start.
b) DON’T LOSE YOUR COINS:If you have more than 2500 coins , at the start of the game you may see a prompt on your screen to utilize 2500 coins for 1000m boost run. Initially you should avoid using this option and use coins to unlock/increase the POWERUPS.
c) EASY RESTART:While running and collecting the coins, you may come across GREEN COLOR gems. Collect these gems as it will help you in restarting your game. For first restart, it will take 1 Gem then 2 Gems for second restart and 4 gems for third restart then 8,16,32 and so on. You may also collect the gems via power meter at the later stage when that POWERUP is activated. Unlike older version, where you have to buy the wings before the game start and activate it by double tap the screen for 30 seconds , in Temple Run 2 you can restart the game after it is over. Once your game ends, you will see SAVE ME icon on screen along with the gem it needs for restarting, click on it and you game will start from that place again.
d) FOLLOW OBJECTIVES SEQUENCE:Unlike previous version where all the objectives were open from starting, in Temple Run 2 you have clearly defined objectives at each level. You have to complete those objectives to move to higher level. With levels, there are more powers associated. For example: To unlock COIN MAGNET POWERUP for POWER METER you need to reach LEVEL 5. So keeping track of objectives is also required.
e) NOT A STRAIGHT ROAD:You may take time to get used to curve road and automatic sideways movement of the character while running.
f) INVEST COINS WHERE:Preference should be given to increasing the coin value and increasing the coin magnet powers initially.
TEMPLE RUN 2 TRICK to COLLECT MORE COINS:
In Temple Run 2, coins are everything. It will help you in unlocking few powers, completing few objectives, unlocking new characters SCARLETT FOX, BARRY BONES, KARMA LEE and powerup associated with these characters. So is there a way by which you can collect more coins ? There is no cheat however there is a trick to collect more coins. Complete your objectives and reach LEVEL 5. In the meantime upgrade COIN MAGNET in abilities to full. Once you reach LEVEL 5, COIN MAGNET as POWER METER Powerup will be unlocked. Select the POWERUP and chose COIN MAGNET as new power. This will be activated once your power meter is full. Now start the game. Once the POWER METER is full, trigger the COIN MAGNET power by double tapping the screen. Once the coin magnet power is activated , trip intentionally. This will make power meter empty however your COIN MAGNET power still be working. Now collect as much coin as possible. By the time, the power will finish you would have your POWER METER almost full again. In this manner, you can continue using COIN MAGNET power throughout your run and can collect as much coins as possible. The only problem with this trick is you will be followed by a giant ape every time you trip. You can also invest on POWER METER in abilities which will let POWER METER to fill more quickly.
Update: This trick don’t work on new update Version 1.0.1 Now the power meter remains full if power is activated and gets empty only after the power duration is over. Tripping won’t empty it.

8 ) HIGH ROLLER: Scored 100,000 points.
9 ) MISER RUN: 500m collecting no coins.
10 ) GEM COLLECTOR: Found a gem.
11 ) LUMP SUM: Collected 500 coins.
12 ) CHEAT DEATH: Used a ‘SAVE ME’.
13 ) POWER COLLECTOR: Unlock a 2nd powerup.
14 ) ATHLETE: Ran 2,500 meters.
15 ) PAYDAY: Collected 750 coins.
16 ) ALLERGIC TO GOLD: 1,000m collecting no coins.
17 ) 1/4 MILLION CLUB: Scored 250,000 points.
18 ) LUCKY STRIKE: Collected 2 gems in one run.
19 ) COUCH TO 5K: Collected 5,000 coins.
20 ) 5K RUNNER: Ran 5,000 meters.
21 ) STEADY FEET: Ran 2,500m without tripping.
22 ) 1/2 MILLION CLUB: Scored 500,000 points.
23 ) HEAD START: Use a ‘HEAD START’.
24 ) DOUBLE RESURRECTION: Used ‘Save Me’ twice in one run.
25 ) BONUS ITEMS: Collected 20 bonus items.

We have seen several issues in Temple Run 2 game. Many people have complaint that few of the Objectives are not easy to complete especially those which require lifetime collection of coins or running long distance. Also, few people have faced issue while completing GOLD MINER objective. Once you complete the objective it comes again. Refer to screenshot. Have you faced this problem too ?
Overall Temple Run 2 is exceptionally well built game and is treat for all the Temple Run fans. Have you played Temple Run 2 ? There are few objectives which are not difficult however may take sometime like MARATHONER, CIRCUMNAVIGATOR and some may need to use ‘SAVE ME’ several times to achieve like FORT KNOX, 5 MILLION CLUB. Which objective you find the most difficult to complete ? Did you the like the new version or you prefer the original one ? Do share your opinion.

There is an Update available for TEMPLE RUN 2 to overcome all the known bugs and issues. The Update addresses following Issues & Bugs:
- Improved performance on older devices.
- Added ability to skip the ‘SAVE ME’ screen.
- New leaderboard High Score, no ‘Save Me’
- Fixed track pop-in
- Fixed lifetime stats to be correct.
- Fixed bug which caused the same objective to be shown twice.
- Fixed a crash on launch bug
- Fixed various bugs and made other minor improvements.

How to play level 9 ?
I got new objectives :
- INFINIRUNNER : 10.000.000 lifetime meters
- 10 MILLION CLUB : Score 10.000.000 points
What are lifetime meters?
Lifetime meters means total distance you have covered in the game, It is not restricted to one run or one game. It is complete/total distance you have covered.
I’ve completed all objectives except the 10,000, 000 lifetime meters (impossible!) I’m only at 3 mil. Otherwise to me its easier than Temple Run 1. One problem is that the characters don’t want to jump or go around corners when I get over 8000 meters.
Game is fun until you reach very time consuming and rewardless objectives. I still have to finish gold miner . I avarege 1200 coins per run, thus I have to run 100times to complete the objective AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT! And 10million life time meter wtf?
Well it was fun while it lasted, now it’s delete time.
I have completed all objectives and currently at Level 9. Though there isn’t any valid objective for level 9. Does anyoe know what are the objectives for level 9?
Hi, I am not sure because of the people are finding it difficult to complete infirunner objective. Also, many people are complaining about stuck objective. May be in next upgrade we can see this issue addressed.
this allows you to collect more gems. everytime you collect coins and reach power-up stage where you are able to boast etc , now you can use this for 2 additional gems.
by this calculation, you can actually save lots of gems to have a huge score on temple run2

So many people are facing issues related with level 9. The objective meter is not moving and is stuck. We may expect a new upgrade to overcome this issue.
Level 9 I think waste of time nothing happening what to do I don’t know. If anybody got dolution of miser run reply on dhirajleuva@gmail.com

HOW TO reach level 9
To reach level 9 , you need to complete several objectives. However many people are facing issues while completing INFIRUNNER objective. The objective meter is stuck and is not progressing even when you are covering huge distance. Is your objective meter stuck too ?

hi, i am finished 9th level, in 9th level Miser run Desc objective is coming i don’t know how to finish this if any body know this…………..
stuck at level 8. the 500,000 lifetime coins objectives is refusing to fill up, but the 1 million life time coins has filled up. frustrated. hw do i fix ds?
I bet it is moving, but by increments not visible to the naked eye, becuase 10,000,000 is such an absurdly large number, if you run 5,000 meters in a game, the bar is going to move 1/2000 of the way across the screen… If you go to the menu & hit the “stats” button, you can see your lifetime meters, and it does tally – it’s going to take a loooong time to get there, I have everything done except the 1,000,000 lifetime coins and the infirunner, but it’s going to take months to amass 10,000,000 meters to get to level 9

Tripping means when you stumble while running. It happens when you hit wooden logs or you hit walls sidewise. Your energy meter will set to ZERO and your speed may decrease. So in this objective, you don’t have to trip or stumble before covering 5000m.

To unlock second power up or coin magnet , you need to unlock scarlett fox, the new character. Once you have 5000 coins, unlock Scarlett fox to unlock second power up which is coin magnet.

Level 8 is frustrating. you have to overcome the gold miner (collect 500,000) Midas touch (collect 1,000,000 coins) and Infiniruner (run 10,000,000 lifetime meters). I reached level 8 with about 300,000 coins and 1,000,000 of run meters, So a long run is waiting for me. this is frustrating.

Highest Score – 79,545,088
Longest Run – 201,801
Most Coins – 80,403
LIFETIME
Total Games – 991
Total Distance – 6,726,120
Total Coins: 2,139,265
Only one objective left – INFINIRUNNER which i think would take sometime because i would generally run 12k-15k km (an average) nowadays on the games.

I finally used a cheat to get to level 9 (infinirunner is just impossible), but I did all the rest by myself and saved coins and gems. Now I am at level 9, with over 500 gems, and plenty of coins, and there’s nothing to do? What’s the point of getting that insane 10m meter objective? I thought it had some sort of ending?
